FAQ

Why is 4–20 mA still so common?

Current does not drop with cable length, resists noise, and the 4 mA live zero detects broken wires (NAMUR NE 43: below 3.6 mA or above 21 mA signals a fault).

When do I need ATEX equipment?

When installed where flammable gas, vapour or dust may be present (Zones 0/1/2, 20/21/22), such as gas burner areas, solvent stores or coal silos.

Does ISE offer calibration and setup?

Yes: range and HART configuration, calibration, commissioning and PLC/SCADA connection on site.
