Starch spray nozzles and chemical nozzles – round (full and hollow cone) and flat fan types – are widely used in paper mills for starch and chemical application, wire cleaning and general washing. The same nozzles serve fire protection, incinerator and boiler flue gas control, dust suppression and cooling. ISE supplies them to the required flow and pressure.

Choosing the pattern for starch and chemicals
Coating paper or belts calls for overlapping flat fans; spraying into a volume (cooling, dust) uses full or hollow cones. Starch is viscous – choose larger orifices, anti-clog designs and upstream filters.
