A full cone nozzle produces a solid cone spray that evenly covers a round or square area with medium-to-large droplets. It is the most widely used nozzle for dust suppression, gas cooling, washing and fire protection. ISE supplies full cone nozzles in 303/316 stainless steel and brass in many angles and capacities.

Spray patterns and selecting a full cone nozzle
Compared with hollow cone or flat fan nozzles, full cone nozzles give the most uniform coverage across the whole area – ideal for wetting a surface or a gas volume completely.
Flow and coverage sizing
Flow varies with the square root of pressure: Q₂ = Q₁·√(P₂/P₁). Theoretical coverage W = 2·H·tan(θ/2); on headers allow 15 – 30 % overlap.
