An air knife blower (high-pressure centrifugal blower) delivers large airflow at moderate pressure to air knives – using 50 – 75 % less energy than compressed air. ISE supplies blowers with intake filters, silencers and VFDs, sized to the flow and pressure of your knife system.

Blower in an air knife system
The blower draws air through the filter and silencer and pushes it to the knives. A VFD with a product sensor slows it when the conveyor is empty.
Compared with compressed air
Compressed air can be up to a third of plant electricity; blower-fed knives cut operating cost sharply.
